Saturday, November 11th: Jeremiah 50; Hebrews 8 ~ Tammy

Today's passage from the Bible In a Year Reading Plan is Jeremiah 50; Hebrews 8

Hebrews 8:12 For I will forgive their wickedness and will remember their sins no more.”
I'm not sure what's more amazing - that God is willing to forgive our wickedness when we repent and believe in His name, or that He choose to not remember those sins.

The very sins that caused the death of His beloved and only Son.

Unlike us, God does not hold a grudge.
Unlike us, God does not bludgeon us over the head with sins from the past.
Unlike us, God does not bring up past sins when we do the same thing... again.

He forgives.  And He chooses to not remember them.

Amazing!

That is truly amazing! Our sins are wiped away completely if we seek genuine forgiveness. What a demenstration of love!
